You Are A Part of This
Dark and light circled like an orbit. A silhouette of consciousness. She stepped out of faded wall paper.
“You are a part of this,” she said to me. “A part of Mother Earth, the air, the Cosmos, God–every infinite inch of life, and all of it. And it doesn’t end.”
In that moment, all awareness of duality evaporated. No you-and-I, no concept of the other, no here no there.
She was my Higher Self, but I felt no distinction between us, no separation.
She lifted the veil to reveal a oneness and euphoria so great it felt impossible. Time was abolished. I was breathing and being breathed and even the walls looked back at me as me. The colors on the sofa, the temperature in the room, the air, I was all of it, the observer and the play. Life as a kaleidoscope of dark and light, nothing to go to, nothing to come from, already whole.
I felt each moment as a jewel–the precious culmination of the infinite, strung together not as separate objects, but as a sea of awareness moving through itself without categories, and stripped of all judgment, continually learning itself, creating itself anew. I was watching a live projection and feeling it as it was reflected back.
In a painting the negative space must exist to give evidence of its creation. The dark is scaffolding for the light. Each moment of our Being unfolds from a potentiality so vast that you are moved to stop and simply be. This unbelievable glimpse of the universe, this is life.
“Behold.”

How remarkable to hear someone say, “it’s not all about the money.” And very inspirational to hear that someone has the backbone to stand up to a brand and to challenge them or flat out tell them, thanks, but no thanks.

I second your emotion on the 3 Siglos, including your reference to the GH #5. I happen to be a big fan of the entire Gran Habano line myself. I usually don’t reach for the spicier cigars, but IMO, the 3 Siglos had a a very full but well-rounded flavor. From the look of it, I also thought it would be much spicier; true it was peppery, but not in the overpowering sense.
